San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition: Bronze Award winner
250 Cases. Vintners selection from growers throughout the Clarksburg AVA.
Pinot Noir might be known as the "fussy grape", but there is nothing fussy about this wine (except maybe who gets to have the last glass). Growers throughout the Clarksburg AVA have developed grapes that lend beautiful ruby color, to create a wine with aromas of cranberry, cherry, and raspberry. Silt Pinot Noir showcases how brilliant this grape can be in your glass. So don't fuss, grab a bottle, and let the wine introduce you to Clarksburg.
Tasting Notes:
Dry red wine
Vintner's Selection, aged on new and neutral French Oak.
Red fruits, strawberry jam, with the typical "Pinot funk" of cherry cola. This wine has good acidity, medium tannin, and usually the first red varietal that we harvest.
This is a great wine to suggest for a dinner party or social hour in that it is light enough that you don't need to pair it with food to enjoy, and can be thoroughly enjoyed in warm weather as well.
